Armando Coppola
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Armando Coppola, who left us peacefully at the age of 92. Born on July 29, 1932, in Minturno, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Maria (Esposito) Coppola. In the late 1950s, Armando immigrated to the United States to build a life rooted in hard work, love, and devotion to family.
Armando was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Guiseppina, and a cherished father to Michael (Kim), Victor (Jacqueline), and Ronnie (Justine). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Vincent, Juliette, Lucas, Landon, and Sisina, each of whom brought him endless happiness.
Armando found great joy in watching soccer, making homemade wine and tending to his garden, where he grew the freshest vegetables and shared the fruits of his labor with family and friends. His love for tradition reflected his deep Italian roots and generous spirit.
A Mass in his honor will be held at St. Benedict’s Church, 1 St. Benedict Cir, Stamford, CT on Monday, on March 10th at 11:00 AM, followed by a procession to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Greenwich, CT for entombment.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, honoring his generous and giving nature.
