WE OFFER THE HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR OUR HINDU SERVICES
We pride ourselves on always being one of the most reasonably priced funeral homes in the area, although many expect our charges to be much higher given the level of professionalism, quality of facilities and ethical standards.
The burial practices of a culture reveal a lot about those who are left to live on. Hinduism, like other religions, honors specific traditions and rituals when burying the deceased and addressing the family’s loss. Hindu-American funeral services conducted at our funeral home often reflect Judeo-Christian ones, however, they still preserve many of the traditions that originated in India. It is with this understanding that we assist families by providing a peaceful environment and the guidance needed to fulfill those traditions in our funeral facility and conclude at the crematory.
Hindu philosophy and the theory of reincarnation gives solace to those who are living. Mourners are comforted by the notion that the soul is immortal. According to Hinduism, the soul never dies; it just leaves the body and lives on. Grieving family and friends find comfort in reading the verses in the Bhagavad Gita (Hindu scripture). Some Indian-Americans journey back to India to spread the ashes, seek blessings for the departed soul, or to find solace for their pain.
