Kenneth Zarrilli
Kenneth I. Zarrilli, a native of Stamford and a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023 in Sarasota, FL with his family by his side. He was born on April 18, 1943 and was one of three children born to the late Canio and Michelina Abate Zarrilli. Ken was 79 years old at the time of his passing.
Growing up in Stamford, he attended public school and graduated from Stamford High School in 1961. He became a proud member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local Union 501, where he joined as an apprentice in 1965. Ken was a 3rd degree member of Saint Augustine Council of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Hubbard Heights Men’s Golf Club and a member of the Heritage Oaks Golf Club where he shot a hole-in-one that he was extremely proud of. He enjoyed dancing with his beautiful wife, motorcycling, boating, and fishing for many years on the Long Island Sound. And of course – he was an avid golfer. He and Coralee enjoyed traveling and took many trips. He especially loved their time in Italy and cruising the Caribbean.
Above all things he cherished his time with family. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Coralee Olind Zarrilli; his three children, Kenneth A. Zarrilli and his wife Dana, Steven Zarrilli and his wife Christine and Corinne McMahon and husband Terrence; six grandchildren; Michael, Leah, Nicholas, Jason, Aidan and Emma; sister, Marylyn Giacinto and husband Frank; sister in law and brother in law, Barbara and Frank Conetta; nieces and nephew, Daniela, Gina and Frank; and several cousins and many friends in both the Stamford and Sarasota areas.
