Lisa Chambers
Lisa Ann Chambers passed away March 1, 2024, at Stamford Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends.
A lifelong resident of Norwalk CT, Lisa was an avid reader, beach goer and lover of pandas. She shared an especially close bond with her late grandmother Rose Whitney Dawson. Lisa also loved to camp and hike. She spent many weekends doing so with her family and Girl Scout troops.
She leaves behind her husband of 32 years Frank and her 4 children – daughters Julia Rose and husband Jonathan Michael Santiago, Megan Catherine, and her sons Leo Gaetano and Edward George.
She began working as a hairdresser. Later in life she found her passion, went back to college for her degree, and started a new career in teaching which brought her joy.
As a long-time Girl Scout leader and pre-school teacher she had a positive impact on many young lives.
