Nancy Carlucci
Nancy A. Carlucci, 95, a lifelong Stamford resident, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born in Stamford on August 23, 1927, to the late Frederick and Pia Yezzi Corrado.
Nancy was an avid baseball fan and was considered a New York Yankees “Superfan.” Nancy worked in a law office for 40 years before retiring at the age of 93. She devoted her life to her children and was a loving and caring grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 4.
Nancy is survived by her sons; Leonard P. Carlucci and his wife Donna of Fairfield, Canio F. Carlucci and his wife Kras of New Canaan, her daughter Nancy Anne Stirpe of Yonkers, NY and her son Anthony J. Carlucci and his wife Lya of Stamford. Her grandchildren; Leonard A., Canio C. and his wife Sara of Redding, Jimmy, Maria, Christina and her husband Brock of North Carolina, Analese and her husband Daniel of Milford, Marisa and her husband Jeremy of Manchester and Mia, along with her four great-grandchildren; Canio M., Kinsley, Wyatt and William.
Besides her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her beloved husband Canio A. Carlucci, her sister Florence Carriero, and brother Michael Corrado.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Carlucci family with the arrangements.

Hopeline is a nonprofit center that celebrates and honors life, Nancy has crocheted and donated blankets for babies and families at the center.
