Tracy Kane
Tracy A. Kane, of Stamford, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center. She was born in Stamford on September 27, 1966 to the late George and Marie (Macri) Veit. Tracy was 55 years old at the time of her passing.
Tracy was born and raised in Stamford. She was employed by the Stamford Public Schools as a Special Education Para educator. She loved her job. She loved the children she helped and the people she worked with. Tracy’s greatest pleasure, however, was spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife and mother who completely dedicated her heart and soul to the well-being of her family. Nothing meant more to her in life than caring for her daughters and husband. Tracy will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Tracy is survived by her beloved husband, Bob Kane, her daughters, Shannon, Kristen and Lauren, her Mother-In-Law, Ann Kane, sisters, Lisa Lockwood and husband Rick, Denise Faugno and husband Ralph, brother-in-law, Kevin Kane (Mary), sisters-in-law, Karen O’Neill (Richard) and Sue Boccuzzi (George), uncles, Michael Macri (Adeline) and Dominick Macri, aunts, Kathryne Colatrella and Arlene Alves (Anthony) and many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Friends and family may offer their sympathy at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 14th at 11am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 1170 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford. Interment will be private.
